The Economist - Cyprus: The Eurozone's Comeback Kid

Following banking consolidation and three years of reforms, Cyprus exited the EU-IMF economic adjustment programme in March and entered a period of recovery and growth. In the post crisis period, Cyprus is currently outperforming its budgetary targets and the economy is reflecting this upward trend. The challenge is to enhance the role that Cyprus can play as a regional hub in the Eastern Mediterranean.
