The programme for the consolidation and reform of Cyprus' economy yields results and should be continued, Harris Georgiades, the Finance Minister has told the heads of the troika mission.
During a meeting on Monday the two sides discussed the implementation of the memorandum since last July, when the lenders carried out the last assessment. Christalla Giorghadji, Governor of the Central Bank was present at the discussion on developments in the banking sector.
The troika technical mission is here to review the implementation of the country's financial assistance programme.
Last week the lenders met with government officials to review the progress concerning the road map for the reform of the civil service, as well as for the immovable property tax and the delays in the issuing of title deeds.
