The Deputy Ministry of Tourism (formerly Cyprus Tourism Organisation) is a semi-governmental organisation under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism. The CTO is being administered by a nine member Board of Directors directly appointed by the Council of Ministers.
The mission of the Organisation is the planning and development of the tourist product by using all possibilities and resources available, as well as the promotion of Cyprus as a tourist destination both in Cyprus and overseas.
Amidst stiff competition from other destinations, Cyprus must leverage its inherent advantages to cement its position as a prime tourism investment hub. This includes enhancing infrastructure, providing excellent service, and promoting sustainability, as well as leveraging digital and technological advancements.
