Hermes Airports comprises of an international consortium of nine shareholders, managing and operating Larnaka and Pafos airports since 2006 under a 25-year BOT Concession Agreement with the Republic of Cyprus.
Hermes Airports Ltd significantly contributes to the country’s tourism growth, through an active air service development strategy consisting of incentive schemes provision and joint marketing activities with airlines, as well as collaboration with the Government and tourism stakeholders for the expansion of tourism related opportunities. Hermes Airports through its operation contributes 4% to the country’s GDP every year. Over 18,000 jobs at Larnaka and Pafos Airports, and in the wider tourism industry, are sustained by the operation of the airports. 2018 ended with a historical record in traffic, recording 10.94 million passengers.
