EY Cyprus was a gold sponsor of the 3rd Annual Capital Link Cyprus Shipping Forum which was held at the Columbia Plaza, in Limassol, on Wednesday February 27th. Charalambos Constantinou, Partner, Head of Advisory Services, EY Cyprus moderated the panel on Marine Insurance and Reinsurance.
The event was organised by Capital Link, under the Auspices of the Cyprus Shipping Deputy Minister to the President and the sponsorship and cooperation of the Cyprus Union of Shipowners. The event was also supported by the following Organizations: CIFA, CYMEPA, Cyprus Master Mariners Association, Cyprus Naval Architects & Marine Engineers Association, Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Young Ship Cyprus and Wista Hellas.
The Forum highlighted the significant role, competitive positioning and advantages of Cyprus as a maritime, energy and logistics hub and as an investment and business destination. The event brought together high caliber international speakers and delegates, including ship owning and offshore executives, institutional investors, research analysts, industry experts, commercial and investment bankers, risk advisors, private equity and venture capital firms, high-net worth investors as well as major local industry leaders and financial media.
