A six-member delegation from the Chinese city of Changzhou is in Paphos with the goal of meeting with the Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Industry to push the pharmaceutical tech park into its final stages of planning.
Changzhou is host to China’s largest pharmaceutical tech park, and the delegation aims to share its expertise for the creation of a park specialised in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medicinal equipment.
The Paphos Chamber of Commerce has signed to this effect a memorandum of cooperation with the Changzhou Hi Tech District, and the Changzhou Chamber of Commerce.
The goal of the cooperation between the two cities is to jointly create a pharmaceutical tech park in the Paphos district.
