EY named world’s #1 professional services employer in Universum’s World’s Most Attractive Employers

EY has been named the world’s most attractive professional services employer for the second consecutive year – and the fourth most attractive employer overall – in Universum’s annual World’s Most Attractive Employers ranking. Universum’s 2017 ranking is based on a survey of more than 290,000 business and engineering/ IT students from the top academic institutions across 12 of the world’s largest economies.

EY was ranked the number one professional services employer in five countries in this year’s survey: US, Canada, France, China and Australia. Additionally, EY was also ranked for the first time in Universum’s top 50 list of global employers for engineering and IT students.

In 2016, EY invested more than US$500m in training and nearly 12 million hours in classroom instruction for its people worldwide. By replacing traditional classroom training with exercises that simulate real business challenges, EY’s people were able to put their new skills into practice and see how the skills they’ve acquired will apply to the work they’re doing every day.
