During the first day, the lawyers had the opportunity to view the findings of the SWOT analysis of the Firm and to participate in interesting discussions involving day-to-day operational and other organizational matters. Senior & Managing Partner, Mr Stavros Pavlou made a stimulating address on the opportunities and threats which impact the Firm and the legal market in Cyprus. An external speaker also joined the team during the weekend and spoke about the different ways to handle stress successfully.

In the evening, the lawyers enjoyed traditional Cyprus cuisine in one of the oldest and well-known taverns in Paphos and an outing in Paphos’ nightlife! The following day, the team had the chance to relax and enjoy the sunny day.

Continuing to develop skills & expertise

One of the Firm’s closely-followed commitments to clients is the ongoing enhancing of the skills and knowledge of its people. Lawyers and staff attend conferences, seminars and professional courses and recently:

• Senior & Managing Partner, Mr Stavros Pavlou successfully completed and received the highest mark among the participants of the Module 3 – Arbitration Practice, Procedure & Drafting Commercial Evidence by the Cyprus branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mr Pavlou is currently attending Module 4 – Award Writing in International Commercial Arbitration.
• Two of our Firm’s lawyers, Angeliki Epaminonda and Elena Georgiou attended a module, jointly developed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), which is part of the Certificate in Corporate Finance.
