Stavros Pavlou, Executive Chairman of Patrikios Legal and Court Member for Cyprus at the ICC International Court of Arbitration, participated in the pre-conference meeting of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, held in Copenhagen on 3 October 2026.
The meeting brought together Members of the ICC Commission and its active Task Forces to discuss key developments and ongoing initiatives in international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, immediately ahead of the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference, taking place in Copenhagen from 4–9 October 2026.
Among the matters discussed was the draft ICC AI Protocol on the use of Artificial Intelligence in arbitration, developed by the ICC Task Force on AI in International Dispute Resolution. The initiative reflects the ICC’s continued work in addressing the opportunities and challenges arising from the increasing use of artificial intelligence in international dispute resolution and the need for appropriate guidance for arbitration practitioners and users.
The meeting was followed by a lunch, providing Stavros with a further opportunity to network with fellow Commission Members, exchange perspectives and discuss recent developments and emerging trends in international arbitration.
Stavros’ participation reflects his active engagement with the ICC’s work and his role as ICC Court Member for Cyprus, contributing to the international arbitration community and to discussions on developments shaping the future of dispute resolution.
His participation further reinforces Patrikios Legal’s strong international arbitration profile and its continued engagement with leading global institutions and professional networks.
