Paphos has received a European Silver “Quality Coast” award for 2022 and has been included among the top 100 “greenest destinations” in Europe, a press release by the Paphos Regional Board of Tourism said on Thursday.

The 9th UNECE Ministerial Conference for the Environment for Europe on October 5-7 is probably the largest high-level summit ever hosted in Cyprus, said Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou.

The average gross monthly earnings of employees increased by €100 in the second quarter of 2022, according to provisional data, published by Cyprus Statistical Service on Wednesday. In particular, they reached €2,081, compared to €1,982 in the same period of 2021, recording an increase of 5%.
