Health authorities in Cyprus on Friday released a warning  by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control over the Delta variant of Covid-19.

The Residential Property Price Index recorded a recovery in the first quarter of 2021 after two consecutive quarters of falling prices, according to the RPPI compiled by the Cyprus Central Bank (CBC).

The Cabinet that convened Wednesday, amended the Action Plan for the operation of airports to include the EU Digital COVID Certificate (EUDCC) which will be issued by the EU Member States, as well as by the countries of the European Economic Area and by the Switzerland.

As Covid-19 infections are increasing in Cyprus, authorities on Thursday warned the island might be experiencing yet another wave – this time of the Delta variant which originated in India.

In a move to promote cultural and rural tourism, the deputy ministry of tourism on Thursday announced 570 free traditional handicraft and enogastronomy workshops to take place over the weekends until the end of the year.

According to the travel rating website Trip Advisor, Cyprus beaches rank among the best in Europe, with Protaras and Ayia Napa voted among the best 25 locations.
