Some 200,000 passengers have passed through the gates of Cyprus’ two airports in July, according to Hermes, the operator of Larnaca and Paphos international airports.

Cyprus on Tuesday issued an updated epidemiological risk-based classification of countries, including three amendments as regards Greece, Thailand and Morocco. The new classification will come into effect on August 6.

Five flights from British airports were scheduled to land in the Republic of Cyprus on Saturday, after the island listed the United Kingdom in Category B, which means arriving passengers are not required to be under quarantine or self-isolation.
